Philosophica Critica is an interntional scientific journal of philosophy published by Department of Philosophy, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
It welcomes contributions which should focus on the current development in philosophy, current reflection on past philosophical traditions, analysis of the events, but also tendencies or conflicts which appear significant or crucial for understanding not only our social, political reality but also more generally appear constitutive for understanding the ways we view world today.
Contributions, which, regardless of their focus on particular author, philosophical orientation or school are engaged in exploring our time or analyze the presence of what is identified as topical or exigent, are highly welcome. We accept papers in Slovak, Czech or English.
Philosophica Critica is a reviewed journal. It is focused on expert and scholarly papers in philosophy and relative disciplines including papers from natural sciences which overlap to philosophy by intent, content and manner of processing. We publish original contributions as results of authorial research or as contributions to proposed themes. The original texts are published in the form of articles, essays, critiques, reviews, review studies, reports, annotations and discussions. The journal is published twice a year.
